DELF Junior : is intended for teenagers who are undertaking studies in secondary school.

 

 

A1

There are 4 tests in total :

  • 3 group tests with other candidates in the same room 
  • 1 individual test in which each candidate is alone in a room with the examiners.  
Group tests
Listening comprehension / 4 exercises
Answer comprehension questions on three or four very short audio recordings 

20 minutes

Reading Comprehension d/ 4 exercises
Answer comprehension questions on four or five written texts 

30 minutes

Writing skills  / 2 exercises
Fill in a form and write a short text of 40 words.

30 minutes

Individual test
Speaking skills / 2 parts
Guided interview / Asking and giving information/ Simulated dialogue

5 – 7 minutes

Each test is marked out of 25 points.

Passing mark: minimum 50 /100

Minimum mark required per test: 5 / 25. 

A2

                                              Registrations for the DELF-DALF Junior, Prim and Tout Public May 2025 session will open in mid-January, 2025.                                                                           

Candidates must register via the online Registration System (Plateforme des examens): Plateforme

Personal invitations to the exams will be available in the accounts on the exam platform two weeks prior to the exam date.

Results will be released within two months of the exam date. 

Schools, private institutes or teachers with many students, should use the Online Registration System.

To register a candidate, you should:

use the Latin alphabet only!

type the Last name and NAme of the candidate as written on the I.D card or passport

mention the place of birth

mention the nationality

mention the candidate number if it is not a first registration

mention the name of school, institute, or mention "private courses"
