French summer courses for children & teenagers

The French Institute of Cyprus offers classes for children and teenagers throughout July 2019!

1. Course for children (6-10 years old)

These courses, intended for children from 6 to 10 years old (Elementary school level), are based on interactive and fun teaching methods to get children to express themselves both orally and in writing in situations of daily communication.

These courses are offered at levels A1 and A2 and prepare the DELF prim A1.1, A1 and A2.

This children's course covers 20 lesson hours, 10 teaching hours per week:

- July 1st to 12th OR

- July 15th to 26th

Classes are held from Monday to Friday from 9am to 11.30am (30-minute break included).

Price : 140 € for 20 teaching hours.

2. French upgrade course to integrate the Franco-Cypriot School of Nicosia (6-10 years)

These courses, intended for children aged 6 to 10, are designed to enable students wishing to join the Franco-Cypriot School in Nicosia to acquire the linguistic and methodological skills necessary to continue their education in the French school system.

This children's course program covers 20 hours, 10 teaching hours per week:

- July 1st to 12th OR

- July 15th to 26th

Classes are held Monday to Friday from 9am to 11.30am (30-minute break included).

Price : 140 € for 20 teaching hours.

3. Intensive courses for teenagers (11-18 years old)

Through motivational teaching material - songs, press articles, comics, visual documents, etc. - and themes and activities adapted to the interests of teenagers, these courses will enable learners to communicate with ease in different everyday situations and to prepare effectively for the DELF and DALF exams.

These courses are organized for all levels of the CEFR (A1 to C2).

The Super Intensive Teen Program offers 80 teaching hours from July 1^st to July 26^th, 2019.

Classes are held Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 1 pm (30 minutes break included).

Level test

Compulsory French language test, assessing the skills of new students, is organized at the beginning of the session in order to form homogenous groups.

Price: € 570 - € 50 discount if the total payment is made before Thursday, May 30^th, 2019.
