For the 2025–2026 season, the French Institute of Cyprus invites you to meet experts in the fields of science, history, arts, and literature. From underwater volcanoes, through the Middle Ages, to modern times, they will share the secrets of Cyprus in the topics that fascinate them.

To launch this lecture series, Michel Morisseau, a geologist specializing in volcanology, will take us back to the origins of Cyprus, around 75 million years ago, when underwater volcanic activity came to an end...
