There are 4 tests in total:
  • 3 group tests with other candidates in the same room
  • 1 individual test in which each candidate is alone in a room with the examiners.
Group Tests
  • Listening comprehension / 4 exercises
  • Answer comprehension questions on a short audio recordings
 25 minutes
  • Reading comprehension / 4 exercises
  • Answer comprehension questions on written texts
 30 minutes
  • Writing skills / 2 exercises
  • Write to 2 short texts of 60 words.
 45 minutes
Individual test
  • Speaking skills / 3 parts
  • Guided interview / Asking and giving information/ Simulated dialogue
 6 - 8 minutes
  • Each test is marked out of 25 points.
  • Passing mark: minimum 50 / 100
  • Minimum mark required per test: 5 / 25
