DELF-DALF Tout public is intended for young people and adults.

C1

There are 4 tests in total:
  • 3 group tests with other candidates in the same room
  • 1 individual test in which each candidate is alone in a room with the examiners.
Group Tests
  • Listening comprehension / 2 exercises
  • Answer comprehension questions on audio recordings
 40 minutes
  • Reading comprehension / 1 exercise
  • Comprehension questionnaires dealing with a text of ideas
 50 minutes
  • Writing skills / 2 parts
  • - Summarise several written documents totalling 220-240 words maximum
  • - Write an essay of 250 words minimum
 2 hours and 30 minutes
Individual test
  • Speaking skills / 2 parts
  • A presentation based on a series of written documents, followed by a discussion with the examiners.
 15 minutes
10 minutes preparation
  • Each test is marked out of 25 points.
  • Passing mark: minimum 50 / 100
  • Minimum mark required per test: 5 / 25

Registrations for the DELF-DALF Tout public December 2026 session will be open from October 2 to November 3, 2026.

All candidates must register online via the exam platform after accepting the Registration Terms & Conditions.

Personal invitations to the exams will be available in the accounts on the exam platform two weeks prior to the exam date.

Results will be released within two months of the exam date.
