A1.2

This course is intended for learners who have acquired the A1.1 level and allows them to consolidate their acquisition of the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Learners can understand and use very basic everyday expressions and simple phrases. Interact in a simple way if the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

Registration & Payment Methods

Registrations take place at the French Institute of Cyprus, via e-mail: contact@ifchypre.org or by calling at +357 22 459333/4.

Registration is considered complete once the registration fees and the first installment are paid or the tuition amount is paid in full before the beginning of the course.

Registration Fee for new students : €15.00 (paid once and non-refundable)
Annual courses may be paid in full at the time of registration or in 3 installments:
  • 1st installment: 1/3 of the amount upon registration and before the beginning of the course,
  • 2nd installment: 1/3 of the amount before December 1st 2024,
  • 3rd installment: 1/3 of the amount before March 1st 2025.
Intensive courses may be paid in full at the time of registration or in installments:
  • levels A1|A2|Semi-intensif C1 in 2 installments:
    • 1st installment: 1/2 of the amount upon registration and before the beginning of the course,
    • 2nd installment: 1/2 of the amount the following month,
  • levels B1|B2 in 3 installments:
    • 1st installment: 1/3 of the amount upon registration and before the beginning of the course,
    • 2nd installment: 1/3 of the amount the following month,
    • 3rd installment: 1/3 of the amount 1 month before the end of the course.

Refunds for course interruptions will only be considered for refund in cases of force majeure (justified professional need, illness of death). Requests must be made in writing and sent to the Course Manager who will either approve or reject the cancellation. The €15.00 registration fees will not be refunded in any case.

Payment methods:
  • by cash, check, or credit card at the premises of the French Institute of Cyprus,
  • via JCCsmart platform (access from the website: www.ifchypre.org),
  • by bank transfer (contact us via e-mail: contact@ifchypre.org or call us at +357 22 459333/4).

Discount policy:

  • 10% discount on annual courses if the tuition amount is paid in full at the time of registration,
  • 5% discount to the 2nd in the same family (20% discount to the 3rd, 4th, etc.). The discount is applied to the least expensive registration. Valid for first-degree relatives only. Proof may be requested.
  • 15% discount to job seekers. Proof requested.

Reductions are not cumulative and only one of them (the greater) is granted at a time.

Pre-booking is recommended due to limited spots per class.
