Quebec is recruiting French speaking people!
Despite the health crisis, Quebec needs a skilled workforce in many sectors of activity and continues to recruit internationally. From November 30 to December 5, the 22nd edition of the Journées Québec France will allow some 50 Quebec businesses to offer more than 600 jobs to nationals of European countries.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, this 22nd edition will be for the first time entirely virtual. Employers and candidates will not have to travel since all job interviews will be held by video conference.
Jobs in a wide variety of sectors
This new virtual edition of Journées Québec France will allow several small and medium-sized businesses to participate in this international recruitment to meet their labor needs in several regions of Quebec and in a wide variety of sectors such as:
· Information technology
· Video games
· Health and social work
· Engineering (electrical, mechanical)
· Manufacturing sector
· Mechanics and machining
· Food processing
To participate, you must register!
Journées Québec France is an invitation-only event. You must register on the plateforme Journées Québec before Novembre 22, 2020. Registered candidates will then be able to consult the jobs offered and apply for those that match their profile. If selected, they will be called for a virtual interview which may lead to a promise of employment. The procedures for obtaining a work permit from the Quebec and Canadian government authorities can then be completed.
Those invited to job interviews will also have the opportunity to attend a series of conferences delivered by various specialists on topics of interest such as: immigration procedures in Quebec, youth mobility programs, accommodation in Quebec, health care in Quebec, opening a bank account, etc.
